welcome. These are the ways we can work together.

VEDIC ASTROLOGY

I use the stars and planets as a backdrop of understanding pattern interpretation. A chart acts as a blueprint. However, not as limiting. We are living and breathing organisms, so if you’ve ever questioned, '“fate or free will”, then you’re in the right place!

Vedic astrology is a science that emerges out of India. Jyotish in Sanskrit translates to the science of light, as it bestows the light of awareness within. Thousands of years ago, Vedic astrology was in the hands of the ancient mystics, who also developed various techniques of meditation and yoga and health, also known as Ayurveda. The earliest written records of Vedic astrology date back more than 5,000 years. The secrets of this ancient science were handed down orally.

Practitioners of Jyotish were both astronomers and sages, awakened to their own nature. For thousands of years Vedic astrologers observed and mapped the night sky. They accurately plotted the movements of the planets and stars, as well as observed associated themes and qualities. This is why it's a mathematical and pattern interpretation science. It's important to recognize that Western astrology is seasonal, while Vedic astrology leans on the stars.

REIKI

Reiki is a form of energy healing taught according to the Japanese tradition of the sensei (teacher), who passes the knowledge to the student. The word “Reiki” is a combination of two Japanese words: “rei,” which means “God’s wisdom,” or “the higher power,” and “ki,” which means “life force energy.”

“Ki” is the life force energy that animates all living things, it is in essence an electromagnetic field that permeates and surrounds every living being. Believing that “Ki” is the energetic force that guides bodily functions, we can then use Reiki energy to influence the bodies “Ki”. Therefore the interaction between two human magnetic fields may explain the effects of touch therapies like Reiki.

AYURVEDA

Ayurveda is the health system of India and Vedic Astrology’s sister since as they are under the same umbrella in the Vedas. There are many different limbs in the Vedas, a vast system of knowledge.

Ayurveda helps individuals understand their unique body type. In Modern medicine this correlates to the genetic constitution of an individual. Ayurveda believes that every individual is made of 5 elements: Earth, Water, Fire, Air, Space; which manifest themselves in the human physiology as the three Doshas.

Vata (Space+Air), Pitta (Fire+Water), and Kapha (Earth+Water).

The term Ayurveda is a Sanskrit word. "Ayur" means lifespan and "veda" means science, so Ayurveda is literally the Science of Life and Longevity, which defines lifespan as a balanced union of body, senses, mind, and consciousness.

Ayurveda skilfully uses appropriate foods, herbs, lifestyle, and routine in order to create and maintain a balance (Swa-stha) between Vata, Pitta, and Kapha doshas. All these are part of the holistic definition of a healthy individual.

Ayurveda treats the individual as a whole, focusing on the causes of disease. It promotes prevention of disease and maintenance of health. It complements modern medicine very well.

VISIONARY CRANIOSACRAL

I am currently in mentorship studying STREAM bodywork (CAND) and Visionary Craniosacral (CAND). My focus and work is on the nervous system and self regulation. Through a series of “bone-holding” techniques, as well as body-mapping emotions, I work with you to calm your nervous system and find emotional resolution in body and mind.
